For other people to use.

Here are some resources that may help, including places to look up canon content, because the game likes to hide its lore behind RNG and unlockables.

What is it, in summary?:
A team tactics stealth videogame about an agency of elite spies trying to bring down the corporations in a corporate dystopian world. Much like other games made by Klei Entertainment (including more famous titles like Don't Starve, Mark of the Ninja and Griftlands), Invisible Inc. can be punishing but is incredibly rewarding.

What do you love about it?:
It's the perfect juicy mix of spy-fi (gadgets! EMPs! High-tech invisibility cloaks and disguises! a hacking super-AI!), old-school heist/spy tropes (tight last-second escapes! heart-pounding rescues! ominously sanitised references to interrogation!) and small-team military drama stuff (think XCOM). All this in a delicious post-war setting that tempers cyberpunk grit with charming humour. Assassinations are legal and hitmen can become famous celebrities, but the main hacking menace on the dark web may or may not be a literal cat.

There is a small, colourful cast of characters, a ragtag band of misfits who vaguely tolerate each other at the point where the events of the story put them all through the wringer together. The game is great at delivering moments of emergent storytelling. It is also, in my humble opinion, the best stealth game in existence by virtue of its unique design choices. And did I mention the art direction is fantastic?

What sort of things are you likely to request for it?:
Depends on exchange. For treats, any medium is fine always!

Are there sections of canon (rather than the whole canon) that can be consumed by themselves to fulfil your requests, or that showcase particular characters and relationships?:
Sort of.

Full disclosure, I do not expect people to play this game to fill a prompt. It's a challenging roguelite that keeps some of its most interesting backstory and lore content behind unlockables. I still recommend playing it because it's great and more people should know it, and the knife's edge feeling of a successful infiltration can't be replicated by watching a video. But it won't help that much with the lore aspect of it.

The good news is that all that info is available outside the game. This will be a thousand times more helpful as a reference than (just) playing the game itself. I will save the details for a dedicated Dear YT Writer post, but this wiki page basically has all the info.
